Freeze

Back from Baguio.
Three words: Really, really cold.

Wearing beanie from Promod, pullover from Maldita, leggings from Greenhills, and Converse sneakers.

Oh damn.

I found my mother's oversized polo ages ago and decided to have a little fun with it.

I haven't touched my schoolbooks at all this past week, only bingeing like a wild animal and crying over Harry Potter, which I've decided to revisit, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which I just realized contained strange references to things I care a lot about, like shrinking and growing, and all the small big things.

Vacation's soon to be over, we have a long test the first week, and all I can say is that I learned at last to make smoke rings.

Positive Tension

What I wore on Christmas Eve
Beanie from Promod, Black cardigan from Mango, dress from Forever 21, black rose ring
And, on a random note, this is proof that my family's too addicted with Starbucks coffee. Haha!
I'm off to Baguio with my family in a couple of hours and I still haven't packed! Plus, I heard it's really wet and cold there right now. Hmm oh well.

Hope everyone's enjoying the holidays!

P.S. I'll be back on the 29th.

Half-baked Bakers

Here's what I baked with Monique at her house last Tuesday:

1.) Sugar cookie men!
2.) Chocolate cupcakes with (overly sweet) vanilla frosting

Yum!

A whole lot of fun to do but also really tiring. The effort's worth it, though, as these baked goodies are a big hit with my family. Not too bad, especially since this is only my second attempt at baking. Of course, a lot of the credit goes to Monique who's loads better at baking than I am (besides, without her, I wouldn't have a place to bake. Haha!) so...thanks Monique!

Back Away Slowly

I have a strange liking for suddenly backing out.
I like it when other things pop out of nowhere.

Rendering prayers to father time forgotten.

With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls,

We slept.
An outfit I wore to school a few days ago. Pardon the tired face and the messy hair. This photo was taken after I got home from school and I was too lazy to fix myself up.

I've been enjoying Christmas break so far. These past few days have been really fun, mostly because I don't have to deal with dreary academic requirements anymore. Also, I watched Bau play the violin with an orchestra last night at Fort Boni High Street. Seeing an orchestra play the Simpsons theme=awesome.

Anyhow, I'm really excited for tomorrow! I'm going to bake vanilla cupcakes and oatmeal cookies with Jill & Monique and then give it out as gifts for my family.Yay! :) I hope they come out well, though, for my family's sake.

Yes or No

It's your choice. Everything is your choice.

Maybe one day I'll wriggle my way out.

Off with her head!

Well, I've been better.
Too many exams, too little sleep, so little time, so much to do.
I can't wait for my Christmas break.

Please?

My Christmas Wishlist
(with heavy emphasis on wish, unfortunately)

I blame the holidays for making me want things I could *possibly* never have. Haha!

Anyway, here they are: (in no particular order)

1.) Clothes and the "Love Is Blind" necklace from pixiemarket
2.) Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book
3.) DVD copies of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Slumdog Millionaire
(or any nice film, actually)
4.) Pretty headphones
5.) Fuji Instax Camera (!!!)
6.) Cow lighter (customlights.multiply.com)

Bah, humbug.

So, what do you want this Christmas? :)

Walk away now.

Light.
A long drag.
Footsteps!
Should I run?
(There's nowhere to hide!)
Behind a tree, a twig!
(Fuck, I can't.)
Take a drag.
Exhale.
Heart pounding.
Hide behind the smoke!
(Fuck, I CAN'T.)
Footsteps.
Is someone there?
Footsteps walking away.

But oh,that magic feeling

Pick up the bags and get in the limousine
Soon we'll be away from here
Step on the gas and wipe that tear away
One sweet dream came true today

On neutral ground

This is a call of arms to live & love & sleep together.
We could flood the streets with love or light
or heat whatever.
The youth is starting to change.
Are you starting to change?
Are you?

What, December already?
The year's almost at an end but, I don't know, I feel like I haven't done anything fun or interesting or productive in quite a while (Well, besides this, of course. Updating this blog has become stalling technique no.87)!
I'm stuck in a rut and I need to get out.

Join me?

P.S. My craving for frozen yogurt is killing me!

Cold turkey madness

I tried quitting smoking the other day, finishing my second pack for the week.
Cold turkey.
When you have nothing to smoke and nothing to do, madness takes over, and god help your soul, you just need one puff at least, you need at least one cigarette, and everything will be all right.
So I walked a mile after lunch yesterday, looking for Dunhill. Came back with nothing but a pack of Reds.
I'm going out of my mind--the Reds taste disgusting, I've got nothing, still nothing. I'm more addicted than I thought.
But what's so bad about smoking, anyway?

It's hard to get by just upon a smile, girl.
